The Pumpkin Hunter
The Pumpkin Hunter stands near the Prontera savepoint, beside the Veil Peddler. Talk to him to learn how the hunt works, how many pumpkins hide in each region today and how many you have found.
How It Works
Twenty pumpkins can turn up on the fields. Every day at 00:00 UTC, 10 of them are picked at random and moved to a random spot on their map, never on a warp. The rest stay switched off until their turn comes.
- Talk to the Pumpkin Hunter or type @pumpkins to see how many pumpkins everyone has found today, how many you have found, and which region each of today's pumpkins hides in. Neither names the map.
- Search the fields of that region. A hidden pumpkin is a grinning Jakk standing alone on the field.
- Click it. You get 2 Halloween Candy and your guild gets 5 points for the Guild Houses board.
- The first pumpkin found each day is announced to the whole server.

Rules
- A pumpkin stays for everyone: you and every other player can find the same one, once each, every day.
- You can find up to 10 pumpkins a day. Your count resets at 00:00 UTC.
- Halloween Candy from the hunt is bound to your account.
- No guild? You still get the Candy. Join a guild and your finds score for it.
- No zeny, no gear: the Candy and the guild points are the whole prize.
Halloween Candy is spent with the Veil Peddler on costumes and rings (Candy Exchange) or handed in to the Veil Keeper for guild points (Guild Houses), both in Prontera. Each Candy can do only one.
