XileRO Mid Rate Is Officially Open!

Hey Everyone,

The wait is over: XileRO Mid Rate is officially open! As of 6 PM UK time the gates are open, the whole world is unlocked and the adventure starts now <3

Thank you to everyone who has been patient, tested, reported bugs and cheered us on. It has been a long road to get here, and we can't wait to see what you do with it.

Getting Started

Download the client and let the patcher do its thing
Create your game account and log in
If you were waiting in @mall, you'll be warped to the starting town automatically
Brand new? Follow the Rookie Path below. It upgrades your gear as you learn the ropes
Type @help in game for an interactive guide, and check the Player Commands list for every @command
Give the Server Rules and Server Information a quick read

Rookie Path

A guided onboarding for brand new players. Wash ashore on the castaway island, finish Captain Carocc's training (5 Poring, 5 Lunatic, 3 Fabre) and collect your Rookie Welcome Kit, including a one-time head-start buff. Then the Rookie Mentor takes you through five tiers of Rookie Gear, teaching a new system at every step, and graduating earns you the [Grad] title. Everything on the path is account-bound, so it never touches the economy. Read more on the wiki

Daily Contracts

Three quick tasks that rotate every day and reset at midnight: a Slayer, a Hunter and a Champion contract. Everyone gets the same three, and the rewards scale from your first levels all the way to 255. Find the Contract Officer in the newbie Hub (@newb) or type @contracts from anywhere. Weekly Bounties

Three bounties refresh every week, drawn from a pool of 15 targets, so the whole server hunts the same things. Accept one at the Weekly Bounty Board (@bounty) and it's tracked in your quest window (ALT+U) with a button to navigate straight to the hunting grounds. Read more on the wiki

A 20-day login calendar running until October 4th. Claim each day's reward from the attendance calendar and it lands in your RoDex mailbox. Across the full 20 days you collect 180 Daily Login Cards, plus a [C] Clinging Panda, a [C] Fenrir Straw Hat, Battle Manuals, Inventory Expansion Vouchers and Premium Care Packages. Clans

Join a Kingdom Clan for free stat bonuses, with no guild commitments. Clans don't take part in WoE, and you can join or leave any time, so they're perfect if you want the power without the siege schedule. Read more on the wiki

Prestige / Ascension

The endgame loop beyond the level cap. Hit Base Level 255, talk to a Job Master and Ascend: you're reborn as a High Novice and climb again, but you keep your items, zeny and trait points, and gain a permanent reward each time. It stacks up to Prestige 5, and every prestige earns its own aura and titles to show off. Read more on the wiki

Achievements & Titles

Goals to complete, rewards to claim and titles to wear after your name as PlayerName [Title]. Completing achievements earns achievement points that raise your Achievement Level, and item rewards are sent to your RoDex mailbox. Open the window with ALT+U. Read more on the wiki

Auras

An aura is the glowing effect around your character, and every one you earn is yours forever. Reach level 255 for the GOAT Aura, ascend for the Prestige 1 to 5 auras, or equip Celestial and Arch Bishop Wings to unlock theirs. Pick which one shows at the Aura Keeper in the Mall. Trait Stats

Six bonus stats, POW, STA, WIS, SPL, CON and CRT, that push your character further than classic stats allow. Log in each day for +2 Trait Points, and log in on 28 or more days in a month for a +5 loyalty bonus when the month resets. Every job class can use them. Read more on the wiki

Platinum Skills

One free NPC visit in Prontera hands you every quest skill your job can learn, from First Aid for everyone to Sonic Acceleration, Redemptio, Ki Explosion and more. No quest chains to grind. Read more on the wiki

VIP Status

A temporary status with +15% drop rate, +50% Base and Job EXP, +300 storage slots and waived gemstone costs, plus an exclusive aura. It stacks with everything else you're running, and right now it's earned through event rewards like the Premium Care Package. Read more on the wiki

Random Options

Every drop could be the one. Gear from monsters, NPC shops and select quests can roll up to 4 random bonus options: Attack Speed, damage %, elemental resistance and more. Every item has a tiny chance per slot to roll a Legendary on top, and options are permanent and sit alongside your card slots. Read more on the wiki

Cards

Monster cards socket into equipment for permanent bonuses, and equipment has between 0 and 4 slots. Every card is drop-only, with no shop and no Uber Store shortcut, so if you're wearing one, someone farmed it. Cards stack with Random Options, and the Decarder will pull every card back out, intact, for a flat 100,000 zeny. Read more on the wiki

MVP Card Hunting

Every MVP and mini-boss card on XileRO, and exactly where to hunt the monster that drops it. All 14 cards that used to sit in the shops are gone, so if you want a card, you're going to earn it. Read more on the wiki

Strengthen weapons and armour from +1 up to +10 with Phracon, Emveretarcon, Oridecon, Elunium and friends. Success rates drop as the level climbs, with HD ores and the Blacksmith Blessing to help, and @refineui opens the refine window anywhere. Read more on the wiki

Azazel Token Set

Craft Elite A-Tier equipment sets with Azazel in Prontera, with Nina handling costume crafts. Every piece comes with slots and a chance to roll bonus random options on top, and it can still be traded. Read more on the wiki

Lord Kaho's Horn

Collect MVP drops and monster dolls from across Rune Midgard, then hand them to Lord Kaho's Servant for the legendary Lord Kaho's Horn. The Servant waits in Prontera, Morocc, Payon, Geffen and Alberta. Read more on the wiki

Mysteltainn

Lord Baldur, a legendary forger inside Prontera Castle, will craft the shadow sword Mysteltainn, which is especially effective against Holy enemies. Read more on the wiki

Excalibur

Gather the holy materials, pay Lord Excalaibur's fee in Prontera Castle and walk away with the iconic one-handed sword. Read more on the wiki

Executioner

Its dark counterpart. Lord Executioner forges the deadly two-handed sword from dark materials, also in Prontera Castle. Read more on the wiki

Beithir Set

A three-piece set of armor, boots and cape built for hunting Dragons. Every piece gives +8% Dragon resistance and +16% Dragon damage, and they stack across the full set. Earn it through a sequential quest line starting with Ronkar in Magma Dungeon. Read more on the wiki

Gold Headgear Quest

Bring 3 Gold to the New Headgear Assistant in Prontera and pick one of 26 unique headgears. Every one comes with a card slot. Read more on the wiki

Bloody Branch Quest

Join the Umbala Tribe and trade Dead Branches for Bloody Branches, which summon random MVP monsters when used. Speak to Tribal Applicant Nenu first to prove yourself. Read more on the wiki

Cursed Water Quest

A dark ritual in Comodo unlocks unlimited Cursed Water, a consumable that enchants your weapon with the Shadow property. Complete the one-time unlock quest, then trade materials with the Cursed Nephilim whenever you need more. Read more on the wiki

Syri's Elixor Shop

Syri in Prontera sells Elixors, special potions that cast unique visual spell effects and give your character a distinctive look. Read more on the wiki

Unholy Path

A challenging party dungeon featuring five powerful demons, each with their own mechanics. Entry is 50,000 zeny and a party is required. Gather everyone before you go in, because there's no warping in or out once inside. Read more on the wiki

Autoattack

Farm while you're away, 100% legal. Type @autoattack (or @ac) to set up hunting, skills, healing, looting and emergency teleports. You get 300 Activity Points (5 hours) every day, banking up to 15 hours, and @afk keeps you farming after you log out. Manual play still rewards more, so it's there to help, not replace you. MVP Ladder

Every MVP you defeat earns 10 ladder points, shared between party members on the same map. Climb the daily, weekly, monthly and all-time boards, check the MVP status screen to see what's alive or when it respawns, and spend your points in the ladder shop. Find it in the Mall. Read more on the wiki

Fishing

Nine fishing grounds are rippling with fish. Make a Small Fishing Rod, ride the Fishy Donkey to any ground for free, then catch fish and trade them to the Fishy Man for Blue Whales to spend on costumes and buffs. Read more on the wiki

Royal Treasury & Market

A server-wide pot of zeny that everyone fills together through small trade taxes. When it overflows, the whole server gets a Golden Hour of bonus EXP and drops while the Royal Market restocks. Monsters drop a little zeny again too, scaling with their level. Read more on the wiki

Zeny Coins & Banking

Bank up to 2 billion zeny in an account-wide vault at the Prontera Banker, or carry huge sums as Zeny Coins worth 10M to 500M each that never hit the zeny cap. Read more on the wiki

Full WoE Tracking System

Every siege counts. Across 30 castles in 6 regions, you earn season points for showing up, holding castles, landing the first break and topping the kill charts. Climb from Bronze to Emerald for Woe Victory Coins, and the War Chronicle Herald shows the monthly top 10 and your own rank. Read more on the wiki

Emperium

The heart of every siege. It spawns in the treasure room of each castle with 11,000,000 HP, and destroying the enemy's while defending your own is how you claim the castle. Read more on the wiki

Guild Flags

Interactive banners in towns and castles that show who currently rules a castle, their guild emblem and their reign statistics. Read more on the wiki

WoE Exchange

Spend your Woe Victory and Woe Participation Coins at the WoE Exchange in Temple of the Sky on stat and buff consumables, Clone Pet eggs and more. Read more on the wiki

XileRO BG Mode

Settle it in the Arena. Head to the Arena Warp in Prontera and queue for 5-Man Free For All, 3vs3 Party battles or Capture The Flag. No death penalty, just pure PvP. Read more on the wiki

PvP Arena

The Socials is XileRO's always-on, open deathmatch, and it's open to every level. Type @pvp, jump in, fight and climb the leaderboard. It's free-for-all, so even guildmates can fight. Read more on the wiki

Collector Kiki

A costume collector in Jawaii selling 5 random costumes a day for zeny, picked from a collection of over 200. Her stock rotates at midnight. Read more on the wiki

Peddlin' Peter

A travelling costume merchant, also in Jawaii, offering 3 random exclusive costumes a day for 8 to 18 Uber Coins. His stock rotates at midnight. Read more on the wiki

Costume Mileage Exchange

Trade Costume Mileage Coins for a rotating catalog of wigs, wings, headgear and garment costumes at Temple of the Sky. Pure vanity, nothing affects combat stats. Read more on the wiki

Clone Pets

More than 80 companion pets that look like player characters from every job class, male and female, plus a Player Clone that mirrors your own look. Eggs are sold at the WoE Exchange, and the Pet Food Mining NPC in Prontera keeps them fed and happy. Read more on the wiki

Mounting

Rent a mount from the Universal Rental NPC in Prontera (or use @mount) for a +25% movement speed boost. Read more on the wiki

High Class Stylist

Restyle your cloth colour, hairstyle and hair colour any time, or transform into one of eight fantasy races with a matching look. Purely cosmetic, and there's a Stylist in almost every major town. Read more on the wiki

Security System

Type @security to set a security code. While it's on, trading, dropping items and using storage are blocked until you enter it. Never share your code, because staff will never ask for it. Read more on the wiki

Macro Checker

A quick maths problem pops up after your first 25 kills, then every 250 after that, to keep the world full of real players. Solve it for buffs, while repeated failures mean jail time. Kills made on @autoattack don't count. Read more on the wiki

Uber Shop

Donations help keep XileRO running, and the Uber Shop is where they go. Cards are never sold there, so every card is earned in the field. Read more on the wiki
