Quick one for you all!
A player flagged that one of the Uber Shop armor pieces said it needed level 60 to equip, but actually needed level 90. Wrong tooltip, real bug - so we went digging.
Turned out it was not just the one item. The whole "Godly S-Tier Gear" set from the Uber Shop (Hero Plate Armor, Scarlet Angel, Emperor and Little Devil pieces, and friends) had tooltips that did not match what the server actually enforced - some said level 40, some said level 200, a couple did not show a level at all. The real number the whole time was 90.
While we were in there fixing the mismatch, we figured: why stop at matching the tooltip? So we lowered the requirement too.
What changed:
- The entire Uber "Godly S-Tier Gear" set now equips at level 50 or lower (was 90)
- Katar of Chaos, Retribution and Mossberg 500 (plus their upgraded [U] and [G] versions) now show their real, already-correct requirements instead of stale ones
- [BR] Wings had real combat stats with no level requirement at all - that is fixed now too, level 50
- A handful of pure-cosmetic items (Starter Elven Ears and some costume headgear) had level numbers on them that never meant anything - tooltips cleaned up so they stop implying a requirement that was never real
Net result: that endgame-tier gear in the Uber Shop is a lot more reachable now, and what you see on the tooltip is finally what you get.
Patch is live - update through the launcher and the correct numbers will show.
Thanks to the player who caught this and reported it. That is exactly how these get fixed fast.
