Skull Coin Farming

Overview

Skull Coins are a premium quest currency used across XileRO for top-tier trades — Enhanced Monkey Fist Card, Dark Devil & Infinity sets, Shadow Sovereign's Legacy, Casino costume tickets, and seasonal event rewards.

The only reliable way to farm Skull Coins in the open world is by hunting the Mutated Monster — a dragon-class MVP that escapes from the Yuno lab and terrorizes Yuno's outer fields roughly once per hour, every hour of the day.

Each spawn wave places 3 Mutated Monsters — one on each of yuno_fild01, yuno_fild02, and yuno_fild03. All three can be killed per wave.

Event Monster

Monster Location Description

Mutated Monster
(Ebon Howler — Mob ID 20088)

Yuno Fields 01 / 02 / 03
@warp yuno_fild01
@warp yuno_fild02
@warp yuno_fild03

Level 160 Dragon-race MVP boss. 10.87M HP, Neutral Lv4, Large size. Escapes the Yuno lab every hour and drops Skull Coin.

Spawns are boss-flagged — Dead Branch and similar summons cannot replicate them. You must hunt them during the event spawn windows.

How It Works

{% stepper %} {% step %}

Step 1: Wait for the Spawn Announcement

An NPC named HE_HiddenDragonNPC broadcasts on the #events channel when the event triggers:

"Some evil monster has broken loose from the lab in Yuno and is terrorizing yuno_fild01, yuno_fild02 and yuno_fild03! The citizens of Yuno urgently need your help!"

Followed 15 seconds later by:

"Oh no! A mutated monster has broken loose!"

At that point, 3 Mutated Monsters spawn — one per Yuno field. {% endstep %}

{% step %}

Step 2: Warp to a Yuno Field

Use the player commands to travel instantly:

Command Target
@warp yuno_fild01 Yuno Field 01
@warp yuno_fild02 Yuno Field 02
@warp yuno_fild03 Yuno Field 03

The monster spawns randomly inside a 350×350 area on each field. Use @whereis 20088 or @mobsearch Mutated Monster to locate it faster.

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

Step 3: Kill the Mutated Monster

Burst it down before another player beats you to the kill — MVP loot goes to whoever lands the most damage.

Reward Item Drop Rate
Skull Coin (31288) ~3% (Etc-scaled, steal-protected)
Old Violet Box (617) ~0.34%
Old Card Album (616) ~0.34%
MVP Soul (20114) ~0.14%
Blood Thirst (6470) ~3.49%
Aevir Oil (6559) ~1.79%
Ethereal Dyestuff (6228) ~1.34%
Uber Lootbox 2025 ~0.04%

When you land the killing blow, the server broadcasts your name on the #events channel as the hero who saved Yuno!

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

Step 4: Repeat Every Hour

The event re-triggers 23 times per day at the following server times:

Spawn Times (server time)
00:00 01:01 02:10
03:15 04:25 05:01
06:05 07:10 08:23
09:15 10:24 11:11
12:12 13:13 14:14
15:12 16:13 17:15
18:16 19:18 20:15
21:18 22:20

When a new wave triggers, all existing Mutated Monsters on Yuno are wiped before the fresh 3 spawn. Don't wait on a previous wave's remnant — finish it off or cut your losses.

{% endstep %} {% endstepper %}

💡 Tips

  • Park an alt on each field — since 3 monsters spawn simultaneously, having characters pre-warped across yuno_fild01/02/03 lets you claim more kills per wave.
  • Hit hard and fast — MVP drops go to the player who does the most damage, not the killing blow. Bring a burst class (Lord Knight, Champion, Sniper, etc.).
  • Use @autoloot to avoid missing Skull Coins in messy loot piles.
  • Skull Coins are also included in:
    • Daily Attendance rewards
    • Casino special prizes (Slot Machine)
    • Seasonal event turn-ins (Christmas, St. Patrick's, Valentine's)
