Overview

O'zapft is! The Oktoberfest tent is up in south Prontera. While the festival runs, monsters on fifteen hunting maps drop brewing ingredients. Bring them to Brewmaster Hans to brew Helles Lager, Dunkel Bock and Weissbier, then hand a full round to Frau Greta for the [C] Beer Jug costume garment. Spare beer buys festival snacks.

Step 1 - Gather Ingredients

Every monster on these maps can drop the ingredients while the festival runs:

You'll also need Empty Bottle (item id: 713) and Milk (item id: 519) - both sold in any tool shop.

Step 2 - Brew with Brewmaster Hans

Each batch gives 1 beer and succeeds 80% of the time. A failed batch loses its ingredients, so brew in bulk and expect a few sour ones. Hans can brew as many batches as you carry ingredients for in one go.

Snacks for spare beer

Any beer you have left over can be traded one at a time, as often as you like. The snacks keep healing forever; the stat bonus lasts until December 31, 2026.

Important Notes

Ingredients only drop between September 22 and October 31 - after that Hans still brews what you bring, and Greta keeps trading until the tent is taken down.
A full round for the jug is 15 beers, which works out to 125 Hops, 200 Barley Malt, 40 Brewer's Yeast, 5 Milk and 15 Empty Bottles if every batch succeeds - gather extra for the failed ones.
Brewer's Yeast is the bottleneck - farm the high-level maps with a party if you can.
