Guide to the Sealed Card System Update
Introduction to the Sealed Card System
The Sealed Card System is a unique feature that enhances your character's power based on the cards you equip. In this update, we've introduced new mechanics to Sealed Cards, especially focusing on the Sealed Monkey Fist Cards and how they interact with other sealed cards. This guide will explain how the system works, provide examples, and help you get the most out of these changes.
Overview of the Changes
The new Sealed Card System uses a set of sealed cards that each have a "multiplier" that boosts your stats when equipped. When specific cards are equipped, their multipliers are added together to determine the bonus applied to your character's stats.
Here are the key changes:
- Each sealed card, like the [S] Monkey Fist Card +15, has a unique multiplier.
- There are sealed cards that range from +10 to +20 to all stats, each with a different multiplier.
- The multipliers are combined to determine the stat bonus for your character.
- The total bonus depends on your character class: Assassins and Assassin Crosses have a higher bonus cap compared to other classes.
- These changes help balance damage calculations, allow you to make better use of card combinations, and set the stage for future new cards.
How the System Works
Card Multipliers
- Each sealed card has a multiplier that boosts your character's stats when equipped.
- For example, the [S] Monkey Fist Card +15 has a multiplier of 15.
Calculating the Stat Bonus
- The system adds up the multipliers of all your equipped sealed cards.
- Depending on your character class, there is a cap on how much of this total value is used as a stat bonus:
- Assassins and Assassin Crosses: If the total value exceeds 80, the bonus is capped at 80.
- Other Classes: If the total value exceeds 40, the bonus is capped at 40.
Distributing the Bonus
- Once the bonus is calculated, it is divided evenly among all the equipped sealed cards.
- If the bonus cannot be perfectly divided, the remainder will still provide a slight boost to your stats.
Example Scenarios
Assassins/Assassin Crosses Example
- Suppose you equip four sealed cards with multipliers of 15, 14, 13, and 12. The total value is 54.
- Since 54 is below the cap of 80, the full value will be used to calculate your stat bonus.
- With 4 cards equipped, the bonus is distributed evenly: 54 / 4 = 13, meaning you receive +13 to all stats for each card. There may also be a slight additional bonus due to rounding.
Other Classes Example
- Suppose you equip three sealed cards with multipliers of 10, 11, and 12. The total value is 33.
- The cap for other classes is 40, so the full value of 33 will be used.
- With 3 cards equipped, the bonus is 33 / 3 = 11 to all stats for each card, with any remainder providing a slight boost.
Example When Cap is Reached (Assassins/Assassin Crosses)
- Imagine you equip eight sealed cards, each with a multiplier of 20. The total value is 160.
- Since the cap for Assassins and Assassin Crosses is 80, only 80 will be used to calculate your stat bonus.
- With 8 cards equipped, the bonus is evenly distributed: 80 / 8 = 10, meaning you receive +10 to all stats for each equipped card.
Important Notes
- The maximum stat bonus differs between Assassins/Assassin Crosses and other classes because of the different caps.
- Mixing different sealed cards with various multipliers can help maximize your overall bonus.
- The [S] Monkey Fist Card +15 is especially powerful because of its high multiplier.
Tips for Players
- Mix and Match: Combine different sealed cards to maximize your overall bonus, but keep an eye on the cap to avoid wasting potential stats.
- Assassin Advantage: If you are playing as an Assassin or Assassin Cross, try to equip high-multiplier cards to reach your higher bonus cap.
- Monitor Your Equipped Cards: Every card contributes to your total bonus, so be strategic with which cards you equip.
We hope this guide helps you make the most of the new Sealed Card System! Experiment with different card combinations and see how powerful your character can become.
